JAPANESE CAT GOOD LUCK DIGI STAMP TOPPER

Recently a good friend of mine went to work in Greece and as she's Japanese I wanted a simple, fun good luck card that she might appreciate, so I drew this little Maneki-neko cat digi.

I made the 7x5 background with a simple black flower stamp and red mirri card punched dots, after matting the topper with the same mirri I added a gem and attached the topper using foam pads.

Quick, simple and fun.

By the way she loved it.

SENIOR BFFs - FREE DIGI.

I drew this digi over the Bank Holiday and thought I'd share.
It's two old ladies who meet up often in a local cafe for a chat and a coffee,  they've known each other since they were nippers and they still haven't run out of stories yet, a single coffee can last for hours, I call this one -  "We'll be best friends forever - because you know too much"

SOME MORE CRAFTY MAKES.

A 6x6 card I made using the "Simply Susan" set of stamps again from HOTP. Part number: 4101123
Te sentiment stamps is also HOTP from their "Birthday Cheer" range. Part number: 4101137
I layered each panel with foam pads  to give them some dimension, it looks like my matting is off but I swear it's the lighting.  :0)

I made these little Japanese bookmarks a few months ago after watching a video on YouTube and getting some inspiration.
They're very easy to make and I think they're really cute and they were certainly popular with friends who requested more of them after I gave these out.

A simple A6 card made using stamps from HOTP (Simply Susan) , I used masking tape to mask off an area before stamping the vertical swirls. I really do like this set and seem to be using often.

These two cards were made were both made using Sizzix Framelits dies - Triple Fancy Frame Flip-its code: 659176.
These are great because they even have the dies to cut the patterned paper of your choice to to size that fit on your card perfectly.

The butterflies are dies from HOTP. "3 Butterflies and 2 Shadows" Part number: 410532.
On the butterfly card I used foam pads to attach the sentiments to the back of the card.

A simply stamped 8x4 card which I coloured using pastel Promarkers The butterflies stamps are from HOTP and are called "Butterflies" Part number: 4101148
The sentiment is from HOTP  "Birthday Cheer" range. Part number: 4101137

Such an easy, simple card to make but I think it's quite striking.

A FEW MORE CRAFTY CARDS.

This is a simple 5x7 card I made using HOTP papers, stamps and dies.

Another simple 5x7 card made using the "Simply Susan" set of stamps by HOTP code:1123.
I really like this set.

This was another attempt at a stamped collage using masks and various HOTP stamp sets.

A large A5 card this time for a friends 70th birthday. I used a butterfly dies from HOTP and the flower die is from Spellbinders and is called "Positively Me" code S5-143.

Well that's enough for now, will add some more soon.

I'M BACK AGAIN. :0)x

Hello again.

Because one of my lovely followers has been urging me for so long to pull myself together and get on with my blog (Thank you for the encouragement Ginny) I thought I'd better make an appearance.

Sorry I've been absent for so long, I do seem to go dormant over the winter months and just want to hibernate when it's cold.

Spring brings me some much needed mojo.

I have been crafting though and have made a few cards over the last few months -

Here's a some of them  -

I used the same layout on these four 7x5 cards but with different papers and embellishments.
The cats and dogs are die cut, quick, easy and simple.

This was my attempt at using masks to make a stamped collaged card topper. I coloured this with pencils, using the white pencil to blend the colours.

I made this 7x5 card for Mother's Day using the "Spun Sugar" Artful card set from HOTP.

And this 6x6 card from the same set. Great muted colours in this set.
The sentiment stamps are from Paula Pascual.

These simple 4x4 Easter cards were made by first adding the rabbit digitally to the distressed striped background then printed them off.
I added some black ink around the edges and a die cut the sentiment using Hot Off The Press dies "6 Labels and 2 swirls" set hotp-5318, the sentiments again are by Paula Pascual.

Well that's a few to start off with, I'll be back with some more very soon .. and a new set of digi stamps.

Thank you again to  Ginny for resparking my mojo.

Vince x
